How to Read Hyundai Kia SIM2K-240 ECU with foxflash?

 Problem:

Foxflash tool wrote Hyundai Sim2k240 and corrected the checksum of the flash well, in the eeprom wrote complete but says up cheksum error, will I have problems with that?

Solution:

That’s mean this chips need you do chekcsum, tool won’t help you do for this one.
Don’t modify eeprom. Normally we don’t modify eeporm.
if don’t ori , maybe car won’t start, you need a man do checksum manually, Becuase tools do help you do for this model.

 

 

How to read Hyundai/Kia SIM2K-240 ecu with foxflash?

CONTINENTAL SIM 2K-240 [ 1767 INT.F.] – Hyundai, Kia

Kit to use:
– Multifunction cable
– 4 resistances of 1000 Ω
– 1 resistance of 2700 Ω

 

Step 1: Read and Write ECU

Connect with the multifunction cable the following pinout and the boot shown below.

Use the driver:

→ TOOLS BOOT MODE

→ INFINEON TRICORE Boot

→ SAK TC1767

ATTENTION:If the password error message appears at the beginning of the reading, proceed as follows:

 

Step 2: Password Search:

Disable the boot mode by unsoldering the resistances. Keep connecting only the pinout.

Use the driver:

→ TOOLS BOOT MODE

→ INFINEON TRICORE Tool Password

→ OBD PASSWORD SIM 2K KIA HYUNDAI

→ Click on “Find Password” and follow the software messages

Now that the password has been found it’s possible to read and write the control unit as described in STEP 1.
